2. Getting A Trim
Snip..Snip. Getting a trim is the lifeline of healthy hair growth. Even though it sounds crazy getting a hair trim will actually help your hair grow even faster and most importantly healthier! Getting a trim helps remove those split ends and damaged hair that holds your back from growing its healthiest. So remember the next time you are worried about getting a trim that it will actually help your hair. The best time frame in between trims is every 6 – 8 weeks!
3. Shampooing Less Frequently
Your going to love this one! Have you ever asked yourself how often should I be shampooing my hair? We have the answer. There is such thing as over-washing your hair and it is something that is very easy to do. When you wash your hair everyday it removes the natural oils and proteins your hair has naturally that keeps your hair it healthiest. Depending on your hair type washing your hair 2 to 4 times per week is ideal!
4. Conditioner
One of the most important things for your hair is without question is a good conditioner. This is one of things that you needs time to do its job so leaving your conditioner in long enough is a must! The purpose of leaving it in long enough is to give it time to balance the PH of your hair after shampooing, sealing the cuticle for stronger, healthier hair! This is why we recommend leaving conditioner in your hair for a minimum of 3 minutes to 5 minutes. If you have a lot of time one of the best things to do before applying the conditioner to your hair is to towel dry your hair after shampooing. This helps remove the excess water allowing the conditioner to penetrate the hair even more but if you’re crunched for time squeezing your hair a few times will go along way as well!
