You will need a few essential items! Hair, skin and nail vitamins, leave in conditioner with a heat protectant, dry shampoo, and a wet brush.

Great Hair starts from the inside! It is essential to your hair"s health that it gets the vitamins it need to stay strong and shiny! I love these vitamins from GNC. They taste like a starburst so they are really easy to remember to take! Also keep your diet rich on protein and omega three fatty acids for they aid your hair to become it's healthiest!

Invest in a great Leave in conditioner! You need to look for one that conditions and has a heat protectant. Our hair gets stressed out from heat styling so it is essential to get the misture back in. Just like putting lotion on your skin after a shower, spray a leave in on your strands before your comb your hair out. My favorites are It's A 10 Leave In Miracle Treatment and Redken All in 1 Treatment.

Use a little dry shampoo but not too much! Using a dry shampoo every other day will help you cut down on heat styling. But if you use too much it can cause breakage as it builds up on your hair! Be mindful of the amount of dry shampoo in your hair and shampoo accordingly! My favorites are Bed Head Oh Behive and Redken"s Pillow Proof Two Day Extender.

magical brush is designed with bristles that do not snag our hair and detangles like a dream. This cuts down on breakage and feels amazing on your head when you use it. Regularly brushing your hair stimulates your scalp and promotes hair growth.
Invest in a Wetbrush! This magical brush is designed with bristles that do not snag our hair and detangles like a dream. You will have less breakage with this brush vs your regular one. It also feels amazing on your head when you use it! Regularly brushing your hair stimulates your scalp and promotes hair growth. I can’t say enough great things about this product!
Lastly get regular trims. This seems counter productive and in same cases it is. If you are in the salon for color every 4-6 weeks trimming your hair an inch every time is too much. Your hair on average grows half of an inch a month and cutting it that often will slow down where you want to be. I reccomend doing trims every other color service. I also like doing dry trims because you can see where the hair is starting to split and only cut what you need off. If you are not in the salon regularly , I would trim every 8-10 weeks.
